Jordan by Lori Foster

Back Blurb:  Jordan Sommerville was a healer of helpless animals, rescuer of strays, a man who cold seduce a woman with his voice alone. Yet he didn't use that power often. His brothers kidded that he was holding out for a paragon of virtue and not many in Buckhorn qualified. But then he met Georgia, and broke all of his own rules.
Georgia Barnes supported herself and her kids as a dancer- an exotic dancer. If Jordan Sommerville didn't like it, he could take a hike. So what if he was the most caring, gentle, desirable man she'd ever know- he was stall a man like all the rest. Surely he couldn't be as perfect as he looked...or could he?

This is my busy time of year..what with all of the holiday prep and filling orders for my crafts..so when I find myself with a couple of minutes I like to grab a Harlequin. The good ones read fast and I can kind of accomplish two things at once..enjoy a story and keep crafting.
I grabbed Jordan's Story this time.  I loved all the brothers in the Buckhorn Brothers series, but Jordan especially. He was struck by Georgia when he first walked into the bar and saw her dancing. Then they were both arrested after the fight broke out and they were alone in the back of a squad car. He just couldn't wrap his head around the idea of her or his need to take care of her. And she needed someone to help her to take care of things. Her mother becomes seriously ill, leaving Georgia without childcare and emotional support. A perfect opportunity for Jordan to step in.
My copy of this book is an original one..it has been re-released under the name Forever Buckhorn and it is Gabe and Jordan's stories combined. A great read!
